ROAD BIKE JOE

For a road bicyclist the PCH is one of the best scenic bike path in California, unfortunately the day we shot it was a heavy over casted day.  So, we took our chances and hoped for the Sun to break through but nada. 

A little story on Joe, he had picked up riding road bike for the sole purpose to support the breakaway from cancer relief.  This event takes place in Newbury Park, CA (Amgen) to start and the loops around San Francisco and back to Newbury Park to finish in 8 days.  What's cool is anybody can join this event provided that you got a chunk of change to donate to the relief.  

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA

It was a beautiful Saturday and turnout was great.  It started at 9am to 12pm, thanks to Camarillo Community Center  and Crossroads Community Church for supporting this event.  All games, egg hunt, animal rides, jamboree,  joy jumps, and raffles were all FREE of charge.  All ages of children had a chance to do there easter egg hunt.  Congrats to Camarillo Community Center and Crossroads for a well organized and executed event.

Minnie Moreno and her family, JR, Jamie / Connie, John, Mella, Gloria, and Ray G. and, Jacky all visited for some time with Minnie in Oxnard, CA Nursing Home. 

Southside Little League Baseball

Tons of laughter and fun for the kids, coaches, and the strong spirited parents.  Great pictures are always taken outdoors.  I have taken many pictures but this one in particular is "Right on the Ball" is how I call this picture.  One in a million shot especially on a Canon 5D, it's all in the timing of the shoot.  You can appreciate  the shot more if you enlarge it by clicking onto the image.  You can see the ball and the bat deflection and of course the facial expression.  No Photoshop was done straight from the camera.

Birthday girl at the Park

My daughter turned 7 yr old.  She wanted to go to the park and have some genuine full in the sun.  So my day was spent taking action shots of her launching off of the swing set.
